Dear Members,

As a member of El Paso County Contractors Association you have an extraordinary opportunity to help the construction industry that you are affiliated with. The construction industry is headed for a labor shortage crisis and now you have an opportunity to do something about it. The Board of Directors has decided to team up with NAWIC to put on a Construction Career Day here in Colorado Springs. The date has been set for September 25, 2008. There are several ways you can help. You can take one day out of your busy schedule to show our youth the construction industry by volunteering in three different ways (see the attached volunteer form). Pick the one that best fits your specialty.

Along with volunteering that day, in order to show 600 high school juniors and seniors the construction industry, many funds are also needed. The Board of EPCCA has committed the association as a Platinum Sponsor and we encourage all of our members to give serious consideration to becoming a sponsor on some level as well.

Please download and print out the Construction Career Day information on both ways to contribute and please pass it on to others in your company. It will take the efforts of the over two hundred volunteers to get this done.
