Every year, The El Paso County Contractors Association provides funding to local vocational programs that support the promotion of the construction industry to our youth.  Please join us in the presentation of the Annual Vocational Program Grant Awards, made possible with your membership and support.

Also joining us will be Chelsea Husum!

CEO of an award-winning construction company, unapologetic author, and keynote speaker on The Vulnerability Advantage: How Human-Centered Leaders Build High-Trust Teams.

I built a successful construction business in a male-dominated industry—with zero formal business training, no investors and no roadmap. What I discovered along the way is that leadership isn’t about having the right credentials—it’s about having the courage to be real.

Through my B.R.A.V.E. Leadership Framework, I help organizations create cultures where people feel safe to speak up, innovate, and lead boldly. Because when people feel seen and valued, they don’t just comply—they contribute, collaborate, and create their best work.

My mission is simple: to help leaders ditch perfection, lead with vulnerability and humanity, and build the kind of cultures people don’t want to leave.

When I’m not on stage or leading my team at American GPR & Coring, I’m behind the mic on my podcast Lip Service & Lashes—or still laughing about the day my book Real Vibes Only hit #2 on Amazon’s Women in Business chart (right under Rachel Hollis).

Because here’s what I know for sure: you don’t have to be perfect to be powerful—you just have to be brave enough to be real.

Dinner is included with the event, and there will be a cash bar for responsible attendees over 21 years of age.

You will not want to miss this!
