Position Summary

Responsible for smoothing and finishing poured concrete surfaces, setting and aligning forms, and performing a wide variety of tasks related to concrete placement, finishing, patching, and repair. Uses hand and power tools to ensure quality results and proper curing conditions while supporting daily concrete operations.

Essential Functions

• Set and align forms to required pitch, depth, and layout
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, trowels, screeds, and floats
• Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power trowels, edgers, jointers, and brooms
• Cut expansion joints and patch voids as required
• Monitor curing conditions including wind, temperature, and moisture
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Signal concrete trucks for proper positioning and manage chutes during pours
• Repair concrete by chipping, grinding, drilling, or installing reinforcing rods
• Apply hardeners, sealers, waterproofing, or restoration compounds
• Perform decorative finishes, stamping, polishing, or aggregate spreading
• Mix concrete, grout, or slurry as needed
• Maintain and use required personal tools, including floats, trowels, skates, knee pads, boots, and hand tools

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: Minimum 3 years related concrete finishing experience
• Must be able to reliably commute or relocate within Colorado

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to wear PPE and work in varying indoor/outdoor environments
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and ability to work under pressure

Physical Demands
